I planned to buy a domain name to start a website. While searching I had found many easy domain names in .co extension. Can I go for it? What is the difference between .co and .com domain names? and whether it affects SEO?
.co are new upcoming domain name extensions. .com are very old and most popular extensions. Hope everyone will prefer to go .com domains instead of .co since it was familier.
For example:
My site is etechtricks.com and you bought etechtricks.co. You increased your traffic and got some good amount of visitors then I too will get some visitors of your site. By miss typing or miss understand.
.com domain is the most popular one. You can try .co too. Be aware that if you buy the .co, then also try to buy the .com domain… Then you will get your brand traffic…
So I always prefer to go for .com domains.
